Chaplaincy

IN CHRISTO FUTURUM

Since its foundation, St Paul’s has always considered the explicit proclamation of the Christian gospel as being central to its mission. Our students are invited to make sense of the gospel, consider the Christian faith revealed within the Biblical story, and see the world through this lens.

Our Chaplaincy programme is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual wellbeing of our students, staff, and families, providing a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to explore the Christian faith.

Our Chaplains at St Paul's provide a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to explore and deepen their understanding of a Christian perspective of life and the self, as well as an active relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. They uphold the school’s statement of faith and oversee Christian ministry within the school, and are involved with:

See Beyond

Pastoral Care
Providing one-on-one support, guidance, and counselling to students and staff, helping them navigate personal challenges and celebrate their accomplishments.

Spiritual Growth
Offering various opportunities for discovering and growing in faith, including regular chapel services, prayer groups, student led CRU-groups in the Junior and Secondary school, Bible studies, and professional theological development.

Community Engagement
Organising events and initiatives that foster a sense of community, such as chapel services, pastoral care visits with families, and connections with local churches.

Educational Support
Designing and implementing a Christian Studies programme that seeks to grow Biblical literacy, add value to teaching and learning in all faculties, and foster relationships where students can flourish as they navigate their learning and decision-making for the future.

Chapel takes place each fortnight in the Junior and Secondary school. At the heart of Chapel is the gathering of people around God’s word, where the Bible is read, explained and applied in a clear, engaging, and relevant way to enable students to make sense of themselves, their learning and the world we live in. Our voluntary Christian groups are open for all students and aim to develop a positive sense of belonging and community centered on faith in Jesus.

If our Chaplains can ever be of support to you, your child, or your family, please do not hesitate to contact them:
