At St Paul’s Grammar School, our Primary Years Programme (PYP) offers a relevant and challenging curriculum that develops caring lifelong learners. Our students grow with a deep regard for their world, aspiring to be active participants in creating a better future.
Introduced in 2002, St Paul’s was the first school in New South Wales authorised to offer the IB PYP. The programme guides students to become inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, knowledgeable, principled, caring, open-minded, balanced, and reflective.
Learning is enriched with Mandarin Chinese, specialist music lessons, physical education, and numerous options for exploring potential in sports and the arts. Our students are encouraged and nurtured throughout their primary school years, ensuring the best possible transition to Secondary School.
The culmination of learning within the Junior School is our annual Exhibition where our Year 6 students present their findings of independent research. Ultimately, the Exhibition serves as a celebration of learning in the Junior School, where all classes display the inquiries they have undertaken.
