At St Paul’s Grammar School, our Pre-Kindergarten programme is modelled on the Primary Years Programme (PYP), designed to nurture children’s natural sense of wonder and curiosity. Through our Units of Inquiry, children learn to ask questions and develop essential research skills. They engage in hands-on learning and use technology to explore their world up close.
Our programme includes incursions that bring real-life experiences into the classroom, enhancing their learning journey. Our early learners develop an understanding of the world, with room to wonder and grow as they progress through their primary years.
As our students play, they are taught important social skills such as sharing, taking turns, waiting patiently, solving problems, managing emotions, and being respectful.
In purpose-built spaces, we blend indoor and outdoor environments that encourage interactive exploration and complement Key Learning Areas. Everyday learning experiences are enriched with music, physical wellbeing, and Mandarin Chinese, taught from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.
