SECONDARY SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHERS
1 x Temporary Full-Time Position - 12-month maternity leave (commencement during Term 2, negotiable start date).

1 x Temporary Part-Time Position - possibility of ongoing employment (commencement Term 3, or as negotiated).

DRAMA ACADEMY TUTOR
Casual Position

We are looking for experienced and qualified Drama tutors to work in our cocurricular programme which operates after school hours.

Lessons begin mid-February. Classes run Monday to Thursday with times ranging from 3pm-5:30pm. Classes are in age groups for students in Pre-K right up to Year 12.

Essential Criteria

  • Current WWCC
  • Experience in your relevant field of Drama

Casual Positions
St Paul 's welcomes applications for casual employment positions at any time. In order to qualify you will need to:

  • Have a teaching degree and where necessary, a qualification approved by the NSW Institute of Teachers (Teaching Staff Only);
  • Be actively involved in a community of Christian faith;
  • Have a “Working with Children” check.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH

St Paul’s is dedicated to providing staff with a comprehensive Professional Development programme, which is annually reviewed. This broadly encompasses areas such as best practice in education, Christian perspectives, welfare, technology, OH&S and compliance issues.

Training through external providers is also encouraged to ensure our staff are equipped to face the challenges of a modern school. Such training supports staff in their Key Learning Area or field of work and is intended to facilitate advancement of career aspirations.

As an IB World School, offering three continuous programmes of study, staff are provided with extensive, on-going, fully-funded training, offered both internally and by the IBO.  New Staff are offered opportunities for mentoring, to ensure a smooth transition into the school.

Staff are able to participate in Cultural Tours (Egypt and Europe), Language Tours (Noumea, Spain, China), service-oriented trips (Cambodia), Duke of Edinburgh hikes, as well as teaching opportunities in our Sister Schools in China.

Staff are encouraged to develop their skills and utilise their gifts in areas they find rewarding. At St Paul’s these roles are many, including: House patrons, leading cocurricular areas such as Sport, Christian Fellowship, Debating, Chess and in Performing Arts activities and groups.
